  1. Visual Inspection
  2. Fill the system
  3. Pressure test the pipework to be concealed
    • at 1.5 times the working pressure
    • or 3 bar whichever is greater
    • for 1 hour
  4. Replace the Pump with a piece of pipe
  5. Fill up the system, check for leaks and drain it down
  6. Fill the system with a Flushing Agent (cleaner) and heat
    • The hot flush is recommended for 2 hours for the cleaning operation (flux residues)
  7. Re-fill the system applying Corrosion Inhibitor
    • Inhibitor must not be added to the primary circuit of single feed indirect cylinder
  1. Check that flow pipe runs at 80°C and the return at 70°C
  2. Check for correct combustion with Gas Flue Analyser
  3. Fill out the Benchmark logbook
    • Gas Safe Registered (former CORGI) ID card serial number should be always included
  4. Instruct the customer how to use the controls
  5. Leave all relevant literature with the customer
